You're Not as Old as You Look, Ageless Beauty!

Maybe you’re not as old as you look and feel. It might be your hair, makeup, and/or fashion sense that are aging you beyond your years.

Happy New YearLet’s ring out the old year and bring in the new you!

What are looks that age a woman over 40? In a nutshell:

• Anything dated;
• Ill-fitting or ill-proportioned clothes;
• Fashions best suited to teens and 20-somethings;
• Anything harsh or extreme.

Take a long hard look in the mirror or ask a good friend (who looks younger than her years) for her honest opinion. Are you guilty of any of the 7 mistakes which follow?

Mistake #1: Harsh or Extreme Makeup

Think subtle; not severe. No garish lips, lids, or nails. If you like red, find a sheer one. If you like dark pink, find one with less blue in it.

Rimmel Sexy Curves Full Body MascaraDon’t skip mascara. Use a lash curler first to give your eyes an instant lift. Try a self-curling mascara like Rimmel Sexy Curves Full Body. The contrast of dark upturned lashes against sparkling lids – wow!

My choice for sparkling (though subtle) lids these days is L’Oreal Paris Studio Secrets The One Sweep Eye Shadow.

Come along with us the rest of this week and get ready for the New Year and the New You!

Tomorrow, we’ll share mistakes #2 and 3 that prove You're Not as Old as You Look, Ageless Beauty!

What was aging me the most? Big glasses (not sunglasses either)! But now I have some stylish red, somewhat cat-eye glasses, and DH "complimented" me by saying 'they looked SO much better than those old lady glasses I'd been wearing LOL
