You can get through the winter holidays without packing on pounds that you will regret and battle to lose for months or years after. And you can still enjoy all the festivities!
Here are Jean's tips for enjoying your holiday feasts - with NO REGRETS.
1. Read this article on Low Calorie, High Density Foods. Pay particular attention to the calorie density table and select your favorite foods with a density of less than 50. Commit them to memory.

2. I disagree with the advice to eat before the party so you don't arrive ravenous.
I think that's an insult to the hosts who have worked so hard to entertain you.
Bring your appetite, but before you start noshing, scope out the entire scene. Look for the foods you selected in tip 1 and stay with them for the most part.
Do allow yourself just a taste of high calorie foods you crave, but savor each bite slowly.
3. Limit your alcohol intake. As you saw in the calorie density table, alcohol is one of the most calorie dense "foods" there is. Not only that, but it lowers inhibitions and self-control. It releases your "inner pig" so to speak …
