Continued from yesterday …
As Chris Crowley and Dr. Henry Lodge tell us in their books, 70% of the decay and 50% of the illness associated with aging are entirely preventable. That’s a powerful anti-aging message.
To learn more of what Crowley and Lodge have to say: men, read this book: women, read this one. You’ll thank me, or rather you’ll thank the authors, for changing your life and helping you become Younger Next Year.
There is also a Younger Next Year Journal. I’m already in the habit of keeping a journal for exercise or when I need to lose a few pounds. If you’re not, buy the YNY journal. It’s a 224-page fill-in book with prompts that help you keep track of your workouts, your heart rate, your diet, how you feel, how you’ve reached out to others, and more.
Whether it’s:
• Journaling about what’s going on (or wrong) in your life;
• Finding a motivating book(s);
• “Treating” yourself to a gym membership or some exercise DVDs
• Finding an exercise or diet buddy; or
• Seeking professional help;
PLEASE do it now.
I know it’s a battle. I know it’s not easy. If you don’t believe that I know what I’m talking about, read my Nighttime Noshing Journal from start to finish
